Connect GitHub for doc-update suggestions

Integrations1 min read · Updated 2 months ago

If your product's code lives on GitHub, connecting it lets HelpBento watch for changes that might mean your docs need an update.

GitHub doc-update suggestions
Point HelpBento at a repository and branch, and it flags the help articles a code change may have made outdated.

Connect

From Settings > Integrations > GitHub, configure the repository and branch to watch, along with a personal access token. A walkthrough is built into the settings page if you are not sure how to generate one.

Check now

Trigger a check on demand rather than waiting for the next scheduled run, so you can see results right away after connecting.

See Review doc-update suggestions for what to do with what it finds.
