A changelog knowledge base has its own Appearance page, separate from your other knowledge bases, so it can match your product while your help center keeps its own look. It also takes a custom domain like any other public knowledge base.
Branding
Open the changelog knowledge base, go to its settings and choose Appearance. The page has the same Brand card as every knowledge base (name, logo, favicon, primary colour, font and theme), plus a Changelog card in place of the navigation links:
| Field | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Title | The heading at the top of your public changelog | Changelog |
| Subtitle | The line shown under the title | Stay up to date with our latest features, improvements, and fixes. |
Two things you will not find on a changelog's Appearance page: there is no hero subtitle (a changelog renders a dated feed rather than a hero) and no Layout card (the feed has a single fixed layout). The live preview shows the feed with your logo, colour and font applied.
For every shared field, see Customize your knowledge base's appearance.
Link to it from your help center
Readers reach the changelog through a link on your help center. On the help center's Appearance page, add a link with type Knowledge base that points at the changelog, and give it whatever label you like, for example "What's new".
Custom domain
A changelog can be assigned to one of your company's domains, either at the domain root or at its own path such as yourdomain.com/changelog. Add and verify the domain first, then assign the changelog to it from Settings > Domains or from the changelog's own Domain tab.
