Sign-in options & resetting your password

You can sign in to HelpBento three ways, all from the same sign-in page: with a password, with Google, or with a one-time link sent to your email.

Sign in with a password

  1. Enter the email address you signed up with.
  2. Enter your password.
  3. Submit the form.

Sign in with Google

Click Continue with Google. This works when your account is linked to Google, including accounts that were originally created with Google sign-in. No password is needed.

  1. On the sign-in page, click Email me a sign-in link instead.
  2. Enter your email address and click Send sign-in link.
  3. Open the email and follow the one-time link. It may take a minute to arrive.

The confirmation message reads the same whether or not an account exists for that email, so the page never reveals which addresses are registered. To switch back to the password form, click Use your password instead.

Reset a forgotten password

  1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?.
  2. Enter your email address and submit the form.
  3. Open the reset email and follow the link to choose a new password.

As with magic links, the confirmation is identical whether or not the email is registered, so you cannot tell from the message alone whether an account exists. If nothing arrives after a minute, check your spam folder and confirm you entered the address you signed up with.

Accounts created with Google or a magic link have no password set. Sign in with one of those methods instead of requesting a reset.
