Readers see your changelog as a public feed of entries laid out along a date rail, newest first, so a visitor can scan what changed and when without opening anything.
The feed
Each entry shows its release date, its version (when you set one) and its title, followed by the release notes. Entries appear in release-date order, so back-dating an entry slots it into the right place in history rather than the top of the feed.
Permalinks
Every entry has its own URL. Link to a specific release from release emails, social posts or inside your product, and the reader lands on that entry. The editor's View public page button opens the permalink for the entry you are working on.
Search and AI answers
Changelog entries are included in your knowledge base's semantic search and in the AI chat agent's grounding. A customer who asks your chat widget about a recent change can get an answer sourced from the changelog entry itself, not only from help articles.
